Dr Dee Dee Interview Eyes Of Faith Ministry

What is the inspiration and vision for “Eyes of Faith” Ministries? In my early years in ministry I had a knowing in my spirit that God would use me in helping women grow and develop in their faith. There was a period of time in my life where I felt like I was in a dark hole, feeling unfit to help anyone. I was nearing the end of my breakthrough and I didn’t know it and a prophetic word was given to me which said, “You are pioneering the way for My daughters. Remember all the words I have said unto you. Remember the visions and the dreams I gave you. My strength is in you. You have the blessing. I already gave you the instructions, “Prophesy your way through.” Years later I felt a move of God in helping First Ladies walk out their God given assignment by encouraging them on their journey by my own personal life experiences. Being in ministry for 20 years, and a First Lady, I know what its like behind the scenes. What I am saying may not fit everyone but there are some hurting women out there that have been called to lead.

They are experiencing pain; real pain. The kind where a smile is put on before the people but behind the scenes lies a different story; A story of silence because many of them have no one to talk to; No one to really encourage them in the faith without having their business all in the street. Many of these women have gone through public humiliation and embarrassment where the eyes of those they ministered to and poured their heart into over the years are now seeing this woman who is called by God in another light that’s not so pretty. So now, you have a First Lady, who is trying to function But her spirit is broken, and it’s hard to function effectively without dealing with the hurt. It’s hard to walk out your assignment in the power of the anointing that’s on you life if you are shipwrecked. This is where the “Eyes of Faith” Ministries come in. I received the name “Eyes of Faith” in a vision about four years ago. It means, “Having the ability to see just like God; Being able to perceive a matter in the spirit in order to get pass your natural circumstances (away from negative feelings) so that you can get the intended results in your life by faith, by seeing through the eyes of God.” That is for anything.

Whether you are in need of healing, going through financial struggles or experiencing difficult family matters.

The bottom line is getting pass the hurt or difficulty by seeing like Jesus sees; through the eyes of faith.

The disciples asked Jesus, why do you speak to them in parables?

Matthew 13:11-15 In vs. 13, Jesus said, “Having the power of seeing” (just like God) but yet do not see. Having the power of hearing” (just like God) but yet do not hear, nor do they grasp or understand.” Why, because of vs. 15 “for this nation’s heart has grown gross (fat and dull), and their ears heavy and difficult of hearing, and their eyes thy have tightly closed…” When your heart is bad, you can’t see or hear anything. All you hear and see is the problem. It is so important to keep your heart right so you can see the way the Lord wants you to see and hear the way He wants you to hear while you are in the midst of a storm.

2. Tell us more about your ministry and what inspires you to press forward. “Eyes of Faith” Ministries is also a healing ministry in which God is still unfolding. God told me that I would be instrumental in the healing process of his people. He told me that the lame will walk, the blind will see, the death will hear, and the dead will rise. Healing of anything takes faith and the ability to see and hear just like God does. What inspires me to press forward? My love for God and His people and my children: Ramon (30), Shinetta (19), and Justice (15). It is forever in my heart that my children always see me operate in faith. Am I always right or perfect? No. But I do strive to obey God so that He will be pleased.

3. What advice would you give to Christian women who are in a place where their faith is being tested. To “stand.” If you can take it, you can make it. That means know matter how hard it gets you have to take a stand for the Lord. You have to obey God in what He is telling you.

God never promised us that life was going to be easy. He did promise us that, “When thou passes through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Isaiah 43:2 Years ago, God gave me insight on the acronym for the word “Stand.” It means, Supernatural Toughness Against Natural Dilemmas. Ladies, don’t give up! Don’t quit! Stop complaining and just trust Him. If you feel like you are facing some serious challenges that seem to be so unbearable, you keep standing.

The Lord is faithful and He will deliver you. Remember what Jesus said, “Never-the-less, not my will, thou will be done.” I have always and still do stand on Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. The promises of God are sure and He will not fail you.

4. What real issues have you dealt with that women are facing in this hour? How to get through a separation by faith, after raising a family and being in ministry and building together for 20 years. Its one of those hits in life you never expect.

After you go through the hurt and the pain and telling God you can’t believe this is happening, life does go on and the ministry assignment that God has given you does not change.

One day, I was having a moment with God, not a good moment, and the Lord said to me, “Dee Dee, why are you looking for the old in the new!” He said, “You’re not going to find it!” Powerful! What a powerful statement! From that day, I shifted my thinking. The Lord knew this was going to happen before it happened. I had to accept this new transition and make my adjustments in my spirit by faith. And that took a concentrated focus, recognizing distractions, getting pass the hurt without becoming bitter, keeping love in my heart and begin to learn how to operate with a lot of “first time this and first time that.” I had to press my way through; especially For my children. I never said one negative thing to them about their father. I always told my kids to love and to stay in faith. Did God fail us?

By no means! God doesn’t fail his children. People fail when (1) the principles of God are not lived out by faith, (2) when the wisdom of God is not sought out and applied to your situation, and (3) unforgiveness is in the heart. After any storm, the fog lifts and you do begin to see clearer, and that small still voice is still there to lead you to your destiny.

How has “Eyes of Faith” Ministries help restore the hurts that women have had to face? The anointing that’s on my life and the revelation of God’s word from my life experiences has helped numerous women around the world to learn how to deal with their perspective – how they see things, which is their understanding, which stems from how they think.

When you can get a woman to understand something by way of the wisdom of God as to what God is saying or for her to receive the right perspective about a matter she can begin to see life differently by getting pass the hurt or misunderstandings and forgive and then begin to move forward in her faith.
