BEAUTY Moisturizing is key. Look for rich moisturizers that contain Shea butter, cocoa butter and vitamin E. Also look for essential oils that contain a combination of essential oils for the body. Avoid very hot temperatures when taking baths and showers. Once you are out of the bath or shower, pat your body down to remove excess water, leaving the body slightly damp, then apply moisturizer. Using a body scrub will help with dryness because it helps to remove the dead skin cells. Look for body scrubs that have essential oil as the base so when you complete your scrubs, the essential oil is still on your skin. All you have to do is pat dry. The number of times you use a body scrub depends on you, but I would not recommend using a scrub more than once a week. For sensitive skin, beware making sure the grains are fine and will not irritate skin. For your hands, try cuticle oil at night and carry a travel hand lotion www.AbOvERUbIESMAg.cOM 61 to apply during the day. Remember that gloves not only keep your hands warm, but also provide protection. For the feet, keep a pumice stone available to use daily in your shower or bath, rubbing gently on ball of foot and heel. For soft feet, apply moisturizer at night and wear cotton socks to bed. These solutions will help you overcome the dry, lackluster appearance of dry skin to reveal hydrated skin during the winter months.
