Your Fund Raising Dollars At Work

When Chattahoochee opened in 1991, we were given the land to develop for our baseball facility. We were also given bleachers and the original dugouts. Eighteen years later, baseball parents – under the consistent guidance of Coach Lemons – have funded the following:

1. Original sod for the infield.

2. Warning track.

3. Current field lights.

4. Dugout-todugout fence extension from 3 1/2 feet to present height.

5. Wooden steps going down to field.

6. Scoreboard.

7. Concrete behind backstop, outside of fence, strip to tennis courts.

8. Press box and concession stand.

9. Hitting facility.

10. Dugouts and storage facilities.

11. Backstop labor, poles and net.

12. Three sets of windscreen.

13. A second surface of grass on the field.

14. Numerous dirt and grass treatments. These improvements – and so much more – were possible only through fund-raising.

In 2009, two major capital improvement projects were completed:

1. New field lights, a SPLOST III project completed with help from Randee Nagler, Area Superintendent for Fulton County Schools.

2. Stadium stands On behalf of current and future players, we say thank you for continuing to help.
